DARPAとアメリカ海軍が開発した大型無人水上艦（USV）で、主に対潜戦と長期間自律航行技術の実証を目的としている。正式名称はACTUV（Anti-Submarine Warfare Continuous Trail Unmanned Vessel）で、後にMDUSV（Medium Displacement Unmanned Surface Vessel）計画へ統合された。人工知能と自律航行システムにより、乗員なしで長期間航行可能。低コストで潜水艦追尾や海洋監視を行える点が特徴で、将来の分散型海上戦力の中核候補とされる。各種センサーや対潜装備搭載能力を持ち、米海軍無人艦隊構想を象徴する実験艦である。
